Macau/Hong Kong - Day 1 ( Part 3 )

After the really good dinner, we head to Venetian. The much lauded IR in Macau, a first of its kind in Macau.

Opulence was used to describe Venetian.

The internal décor, design and settings are quite exquisite.

Most are in gold or shades of gold but since it is a casino, such a setting do not really fascinate me.

After you get into the main entrance, on the left is the way to the casino where most people are concentrating and enjoying their thrills on the countless tables.

.
One surprising thing is it has a food court and probably the place for the mass crowd.

I like the shopping arcade area where it has a virtual skyline which looked quite real. The area was big and live performances can be seen.

High end quality branded goods shops lined up one by one but there are other mass market brands as well

I liked this name. "Fatburger". Seemingly a fast food chain similar to "Carl's Junior". Opposite it, "FatPizza" is opening soon.

We didn’t play here as minimum bets on most tables are about $40 SGD. Anyway, we wanted to find a place to watch the “Arsenal v Man U” match on Saturday. There was one pub which was showing but strategic spots were reserved. But we still manage to find another one, McSorley, another pub but it does not accept reservations so we had to walk on Saturday

.
Then I saw a restaurant cum café has an ice cream parlour, just too hard to resist. I got the tiramisu and strawberry. The ice creams was not that fantastic but most ice creams are good for me. We sat down and while I was fiddling with my cam, the other 2 KTs ordered some distilled water unknowlingly. We knew it will be expensive, but when the bill came, it is a f**king $12 SGD for the “Acqua Panna” !!! It felt like we are endorsing the product so much so that we must drink it in public :)

Some heavenly water we were drinking …

After the recharged, we head back to macau at the lisboa and wynn area. Found some blackjack tables with min bet of $100 HKD. I changed $500 HKD and sat down. The luck and flow just not there. $100 … $100 gone. Then I betted $200 and got 21 points … Hahaha, at least can recoup some but … KAOZ … banker BLACKJACK !

Hiaz, another draw and another lost ends the 3 mins stint :(

Then we KLKK around wynn and went to Lisboa. Energy level was going down so we decided to head to supper. There was a 24 hour 鼎太丰 near our hotel, so we pop by and had some 锅贴 and 小笼包. Average stuff, nothing fantastic.

We head back hotel after quite a long day. Recharged for tomorrow :)
