Thursday Lunch@e.BlackBoard

This outlet is in a coffeeshop at Blk 18 Bedok South. First time seen it as most of the time even if we do lunch at the hawker centre, we came from the other direction, therefore never always didn't walked past this kopi tiam.

Today, came from the other direction, saw this stall. its blackboard signage stands out from the rest. It sells similar range of western food like botak jones and aston. I got the baby pork ribs which was $10.90.

It comes with coleslaw and spiced fries. The ribs is nicely bbq and came in a generous portion. The sauce is in a tiny cup, not soaked and drenched all over like the one in cafe cartel.

The fries and coleslaw lacks the extra "oohm" from the botak jones ones, but it is definitely worth eating again. The ribs could be a little bit more tender, just abit. The taste was good though, with or without the bbq sauce.

A check on the internet, seems like it has been around since last year. Fish and chips, steaks and burgers ... etc are on its menu too.

For a kopi tiam stall in a HDB area in the east, definitely worth coming if you want some cheap and good western food.
