Friday Dinner@Muse
There has been food at the National Museum for a while. Nuvo restaurant and wine bar, Muse and Chef Chan. Not sure if there are more though. Not those mass appeal kind of eating place you get here, we decided to get ours at Muse. Not very big, probably seats 30 odd people.
I started with Muse Martini, nice concoction, right mix of what was in it. Smoked salmon ceaser salad and Escargot were the appetizers. The Escargots was on top of a row of apple pie like crust, starter dessert ? Anyway, taste quite good.
Selection for the main course was limited but still a variety. I got the duck leg. It was good ! Meat was tender, skin cripsy, the peas and sauce was just right. Though at $30 abit pricey.
Couldn't resist any desserts. Profiteiros and warm chocolate cake came along. The profiteiros came into bite size and with 3 different ice creams in them. The warm chocolate cake was infused with oozing chocolate sauce as you forked into it, the pistachio ice cream wasn't that good, compares to swensen pisatchio ice cream.
All came to about $67 per pax. Can say normal for such a setup, food was good but for this price, may not be the first choice next time.
