Liang Seah Street

This street opposite Bugis Junction is full of eateries ... all kinds of food ... you name it ... most probably they have it ... coffee shop food ... steamboats ... hong kong style cafe ... viet ... nasi lemak ... western ... beef noodles ... hot and cold desserts ... and more

Dinner didn go that well as planned ... went to Pivdofr ... been there a few times ... food not bad ... reasonable set menu pricing ... the usual wait was expected ... got about an hour before movie starts

Ordered 3 set dinner, a sandwich and chicken wings ( gotta to settle for 5 wings because somehow they have only 5 left, it should come in half a dozen ) ... ice water ... coke ... soups and salads ... chicken wing ... they came ... they disappeared ... we wait ... we wait ... we wait ... we wait ... we wait ... we wait ... we wait ... we wait ... we wait ... we wait ... we wait ... we wait ... we asked ...

When one asked a waiter/waitress to check whether the food is here or not ... do they really check ? One gal was up and asking whether her food is ready or not ... and she came later than us ... we wait ... we wait ... we wait ... we wait ... we wait ... we wait ... we wait ... fren then ask to serve his kopi first ... we wait ... we wait ... we wait ... in total around 30 to 35 mins of wait ... Give benefit of the doubt on the main course ... but how difficult is it to make a grilled ham and cheese sandwich ? Waiting for the cow to turn into cheese ? Not sure what is happening in the kitchen ... workflow problem ?

Time is up ... gotta to bastard liao ... ask waiter to cancel order ... 30 seconds later ... we should be more bastard ... walk to the cashier ... simple reason that the waiter will never cancel the orders ... and true enough ... but the chef know our persistence ... and say wrong timing blah blah ... do come again ... well sort of agree ... so we just pay for what we eat

Supper time ... went to the tong shui cafe ... another hong kong style cafe ... which sprouted island wide in significant quantity and speed ... if the earlier wait for food is long till like waiting for Singapore to qualify for the World Cup ... this one even better !!! is like waiting for Singapore to win the World Cup !!!! Somehow don't like the decor ... but was sitting outside and just grab something to eat ... the menu was packed and not easy on the eyes ... maybe because it says it has 300 over items
