A movie with only a cast of 5 artises ... and 3 of them with an on-screen appearance of less than 3 minutes ... and it say it is a psychotic thriller ... so then ... hmmmmmm ... the psycho and the thrilling part must be between 2 persons ? Yup ... a 14 years old and a 32 years old

Ellen Page as Hayley is a smart and charming young girl in the movie who was supposed to be conned ... sweet talked ... cheated by Patrick Wilson who is Jeff in the movie ... "Supposed to be" as per the danger lurking behind internet chat rooms where the actual identity of the person is not known ... and where girls are usually conned and maybe physically taken advantage ... In this movie ... the opposite happens ... Hayley is the aggressor and Jeff the victim

Both are strong willed and intelligent people ... have their own agenda before they first meet up ... eventually both ends up in Jeff's house where most part of the movie took place ... first 15 mins of the movie is dull and pure conversing ... till the motive of Hayley became more obvious ... and throughout the movie ... a mild level of mystery is there on who is telling the truth ... Hayley had it planned all along since the chatroom ... stalked Jeff ... till the final execution of her plan ... she believes Jeff is a pedophile and is involved in killing Donna ... didn figure out who is she and how she is related to Hayley though

So to summarize what happen in the house :

• Hayley found the picture of Donna in a safe

• Hayley plans for the perfect setup
• Coercing Jeff to commit suicide
• Leaving evidence of Jeff killing Donna behind
• Jeff deny it
• Hayley use the final "weapon"
• Jeff deny it
• Hayley tricks Janelle to come to Jeff's house
• Jeff deny it
• Janelle is here
• Jeff admits he is involve in the killing of Donna but he did not kill her
• Hayley knew already because she already did something similar to Aaron, the real killer
• Jeff gave in finally ... hanged himself from the roof ... with the hope that Janelle won't know about this

One thing must say ... Jeff got freed thrice in the house ... but all the time ... he got outsmart by Hayley ... and did not escape at all !!!!!! Anyway .. Janelle is the love interest of Jeff

Not quite a thriller ... no near to any psychosis ... but I can say good performances from Ellen and Patrick ... but then ... I am not the judging panel from Oscar ... this get 5/10
