Last Friday@Ma Maison

A Japanese restaurant in Bugis Junction with kinda of western style food ... decor and environment is dark ... wooden furnitures ... is like cowboys walking into a western saloon ... with waitress clad in kimono ...

First time here for me ... the last attempt to come here was not a good one ... it only allows physical queuing outside ... and that time the KL-"japanese" waitress was quite determined to deter us from eating there ... citing difficult get that number of seats ... need to wait quite long ... blah blah blah ... was just waiting for her to tell us the restaurant's food sucks so do you still want to queue ?

This round we waiting quite a while also ... 30 mins or more ... but at least we got in ... is the usual friday night out ... with the extra agenda ... to see the last ( okie maybe last is not a good word to use ) of our friend who will be flying to Perth to continue his "Can I get 20k a month or will flung anytime soon" course

The beef straganov butter rice was highly recommended ... looks good in the picture ... we had some snails for starters ... hmmmmmm ... snails ... if snails was the name on the menu ... maybe will put people off ... no wonder the Eiffel Tower people called them Escargots .. cooked in butter and garlic ... quite nice ... then the beef rice came ... it taste good with the buttery rice and the sauce ... but somehow they can't get enough cows to give us more beef ... hmmmmm

Anyway ... we got charged a bottle of wine for the price of a glass :)
