Friday Dinner@Bistro One Zero Three

This eatery is along Pasir Panjang road. Just a few junctions after Vivo City, coming from the city direction. It have about the most 8 to 10 tables, small setup, menu isn't huge but great food at a decent price. Salad, appetizers, small bites, pasta, main dishes and some desserts are what you can find on the menu.

Wine selection is available but not on the menu. So either you can get the staff to introduce or take a look yourself at the back of the shop. Anyway, esgargots, salmon and crab meat pasta, baked pork ribs were on its way !

The esgargots at about $8 ( If i remember correctly ) was good. Huge pieces drenched in a bowl of some kind of thick sauce, comes with 2 pieces of crispy garlic toast. Probably just right for 2 persons to share, as the thick sauce could be to overwhelming for one.

Then came the main dishes. Almost every pasta, you can choose either cream, tomato or red pesto sauce. I took the red pesto salmon, crabmeat pasta. A good combination, the garlic and pinenuts that were in the mild tomato sauce complements the other ingredients. Probably, more crab meat can be better, but at $14, considered good !

The BBQ baked pork ribs was great as well. A good dish to share. The BBQ was abit different from those norm ones, somehow couldn't tell why but quite like it. And the meat was not really seasoned, only the surface was smeared with the sauce. The meat was very tender. The wedges that comes with it was perfect ! Crispy on the outside, hot and "potatory" in it !

Definitely worth coming back :)
