Singapore Motorshow 2006

Has never been to the motorshow because there is always an entrance fee, but went this time round. The show stretch across 10 days at suntec 4th and 6th floor. It wasn't crowded at all when we are there around 4+ pm.

Some of the continental makers are missing from this year show, mercedes, BMW, renault and audi are some well known brands.

Cars
Japanese cars steals the show with the most representation, Subaru has the biggest booth while Toyota, Nissan, Honda and Suzuki were there. With Cherry QQ already selling in Singapore, China's Geely and Lifan were there. Geely, the 1.5 sedan selling at around $38+K, touted to be the cheapest sedan around, basically sucks.

With front and rear power window consider a feature, how bad can it gets ? Optional ABS and airbags ? Everytime you open the door, the handle seems like falling out anytime. Interior finish has a plastic feeling and "extra finish" are left for you to admire !!! Poor quality !!!

Lifan, another car touted to be coming, doesn't impress as well. Closing the door gives a sound that the door is hollow !!!

Models
Car show without models is just like chicken rice without the chicken and the chicken rice.
