Fireworks@Cafe Del Mar

Cafe Del Mar. The famous club that opened its outlet in Singapore, first time there since it was in Singapore. The entrance brings you to its restaurant and then leads out to the pool area and beach.

Numerous round sofa beds and squarish beach beds filled the pool deck area and the sandy beach. Minimum spendings of min $100 to use any of them. But the beach area are pretty much occupied oredi, even we are there before 10.

The place was not crowded but if you drop by late then probably you can't get a seat to sit. Another thing is quite alot of As, KLKs and behind us was a big sofa area where we were being KTrize.

One of the As infront of us kept diving into the jacuzzi pool and was warned by the security, not sure why wor, probably you can use the jacuzzi but can't dive into it.

One very nice thing was there was fireworks !!! At about 11:50 pm, the sky was brighten and crowd awe in front of the beautiful fireworks. Though not as good as the one I saw at esplanade few yrs back, that one was really good.

Then came the 10, 9, 8, 7 .... 3, 2, 1. The crowd was sporadic so it was like people celebrating within their own little groups. Anyway, then came the so called don't know what DJ, spinning dance music, not really our cup of tea.

Only a few dived into the pool after the countdown and couldn't bring my feets to move with the music. We went back to our seats after going down to the pool and beach area. Found out that our drinks and finger food was gone !! There are still food and some champange left .. Haiz. Don't know why they so fast hand for what ... Not as if alot of people are eyeing for seats.

In the end, they gave us another calamari and wings with discount on another bottle of champange. First time on champange, don't really like it, tasted carbonated, siap siap and like difficult to down.

Left about at 2+. It is a good club to come if you like the outdoors and like the kind of music.
