Fantastic 4 - Rise of the Silver Surfer

Straight the point, brainless, a 90 min action packed movie. Abit better than Spidey 3, probably because it was too draggy.

Susan didn't looked as "big" as in the last movie thoough ... Hmmmm

This time round, a very powerful herald, the Silver Surfer came along. It draws great power from its surf board thus making him almost in destructible.

Torch initial encounter with him left him powerless on and off. In addition, powers will be swapped if he touches any of this teammates. Dr Doom knew of this power and wanted to control it but was rejected by SS as basically SS was not bad.

And not sure how Dr Doom came back or got resurrected ...

So Doom convinced the goondu general that he was here "As he is helping F4" to capture SS, he succeeded. F4 captures SS and Doom killed the general and got the board. But F4 knew SS has his reasons of wanting to destroy earth.

SS was under some "Planet Eating" "Energy Hungry" monstrous power's order to do so. But after attempts by F4 to save him and get his board back, he did finally realize that he do have a choice and "Die Die Together" with it.

Some funny moments here and there ... makes it quite entertaining. 7/10.

Friday Night Dinner@Seah Street Deli

Has been here in a damn long while, though usually is around the area. So thought of coming here with some friends for dinner, the place still gives a familiarity feel but not sure if the menu did change physically or in content ....

Browsing through the menu only left one wondering why did they charge $7 for a can of soft drink and $10 for a shake while the main course ranges between $15 to $25 .... "Kill People Put Fire" ? Anyway, they do serve ice water.

I got the cheese crusted dory fillet. Fish dominated, the rest got the pacific dory, salmon steak and a beef pot roast. And we shared the new york cobb salad.

The salad was huge, that explained the $16 price tag. Lettuce, diced chicken, bacon, hard-boiled egg, avocaodo, potatoes, blue cheese. The solid state blue cheese really power, just a tiny piece gives you pungent and fermented taste.

My dory fillet was quite good though can't really taste the cheese in the crust. Fries was good, crispy and tasty. We were really full towards the end, till we saw the tallest chocolate cake we ever saw !!! It looked really nice ... Yes looked ... No choice we have to order one !!!

It came, It's picture taken, It was diced and sliced, It was tasted, IT WAS REALLY GOOD !!! The cake has several layer. The top layer was a chocolate fudge which was really thick, Oommm .... good !!

Then the cake layer which was just nice in texture and next layer has some raspberry kind of thingie in it, this part is abit too sweet.

Then the next is like some kind of mousse layer, every spoonful of it was really delectable. One of the best cake I had ....

Quite a good experience returning to Seah Street Deli.

Yesterday was a rainy rainy day, so nice to take nappy. And I took one in the afternoon .... so satisfying. It has been a while since I took one, it was still drizzling when I went out about 8+.

Down to pj for usual game of pool but played with a "DAMN EXPENSIVE CUE", predator 314 shaft, friends bought it for $780. As the website say, it can aid you from accurate to terrifingly accurate but of course your basic techniques must be good and constant.

We left around 12+ for durian in Geylang and was looking for 猫山王 but apparently not it's season yet, so we tried 苏丹王, those that are $5 for one and those that goes by kg. Though I like durians but usually don't eat that much in a go, we share 4 durians then went for supper.

Walked past "Wan Tou Sek", usually seen packed with alot people during wee hours so decided to try it out. The dim sum was average, maybe can considered quite alright since it was wee hours already.

On our way back, each of us 打包 $20 of durians .... It will be nicer when it is cold.

Past few days has been damn hot and humid. Was like when you are driving, you can see a layer of radiation in front of you, the heat is really something.

Went to Funan to collect my free NEC 412i hp, part of my maxonline re-contract package. The number was 1112, mine was 1135. So walked around before I go back ....

1131 ... 1132 ... then I sat down and wait. 2 guys was beside me, late 30s from their looks. One was saying ... was talking about gf, marriage ... etc.

Then one asked
A "So you are married ?"
B "Nope. but I have a serious gf"
B "I though of getting another one to fulfil those cannot be achieved from the serious gf."

He compared this to like one won't put all eggs in a basket, example investment. Then about whether expenses wise will be practical and doable, like getting another property for this fling or mistress to stay in, etc .....

WHO IN THE RIGHT MIND WILL EVEN THINK OF DOING THAT ? I am not a saint, but a thought of planning to execute something like that, is like waiting to commit a crime.

If they are too free, sentenced them to 20 more years NS, stay in everyday !!!

Ocean 13

Another sequel in 2007 summer blockbuster period, ocean 11 was really good as not much of such kind of movie. The plan and the execution makes it soothing to watch, then came ocean 12, a bit draggy for me and abit of too much twists towards the end.

Ocean 13 was just about 2 hours, the pacing was just nice and the story was straight forward. When willie bank double crossed reuben and left him in some kind of shocked state, hospitalized, down and out.

This gave the ocean's 10, a very strong common motive to work towards to. They will crushed willie's new hotel/casino by cashing out on it and most importantly, made it lose the Royal review board's 5 diamonds awards.

All the minds came together, with another almost perfect plan.

On the very night when it will be open, the major tables will be losing near in total to 5,000,000,000 millions and that in 3 1/2 mins when the so called "Super Computer" will be down.

Somehow, everybody understands yen and he understands everybody ... Hmmmm.

Almost perfect plan got some problem, they need to buy a 36 million dollar drill and not enough money. So benedict was brought into their plan, but the condition was they have to steal all the diamonds that willie won. Something even which the ocean's 10 said was impossible, but they have no choice.

One of the task required was to get equipment that will help them to win at the tables. Dices that flipped around with a flick of a light. These were made at some sweatshop in mexico, where 200+ workers worked cow worked horse. In the end, there was a strike, they demand a pay rise, $36,000. The ocean calculated that will amount to about 7 million, they pondered ... but then found out, total was $36,000, not for each worker.

In the end, they did get the diamonds, the money and also the bank failed to get the award. As the fake 5 diamonds judge, played by Saul, successfully fitted into the plan. The real judge became ocean's 10 target and the stay was simply nightmarish.

And alls well ends well, they got even with willie. His opening night will be one he want to forget.
A very entertaining movie. 8/10

溏心风暴

Just finished this 40 epi TVB series, about a family run abalone business. And of course all the "elements" of what you would expect in a TVB drama is in it. Just that story line is quite within expectation, no twists at all. Either overdosed TVB drama or the script writers is losing power.

Anyway, heard this oldies which kept playing throughout the series, "Vincent" by Don McLean ( 1971 ), wasn't even born yet. Like the tune very much .....

Was driving to work. Class 95 was the chosen station today. Tattoo was the topic today and how it can affect one's venture into society and work life. And there was this sms ... which says

"Plan was to tattoo 18 koi fish, but the pain was so unbearable that he stopped at 1. And nowadays, everytime he went swimming, people will laugh at him why he did tattoo a small guppy on himself"

Out after dinner to get my neostrata neoceutical acne gel, worked quite well for me. One downside was it is quite expensive, about $29. Introduced to me by a doc, so just went over to the clinic to get it, then found out over the counter have to pay $2 more !!! Bo bian .....

Actually found out, it only cost about USD $10 at Shop@USA vpost, but then though Sing Post make it cheaper the shipping from US to Singapore, still not cheap enough for such a item. Shipping is around SGD $13 + SGD $X ( depending on the weight and volumetric weight )

Went to IKEA, Courts and Giant ....

Giant having problem getting enough cashier, or maybe they do but somehow wanted to see lots of people queuing with trolleys of full of items.

Wanted to get some stuff but after seeing the queue, it detered me.

2nd season starts ... didn't really follow the first season. Not planning to do so for this season too.
The singing was so so to me ... Yes since they came so far, to a certain extent they most probably can sing. Hot favourties for now are ... 许政宁, 徐彬, 桌轩正

My car was dirty again !!! Evidently shown on the top of the car, Hai, only washed it yesterday evening. Bought a cheapo portable vaccum for $15.90, damn cheap consider that cheapest black & decker ones is around $49.90.

Tried it out just now, looked decent enough. But not sure if it can have more sucking power !!

Car wash day. But it was like freaking hot, probably lose KGs of liquid if I washed it now. Anyway, I wanted to go back the place where you could wipe out at least 40% of the SG population. Need a micro SD card for the new toy and see if I could get a pouch/case.

Expected, whole SG was there. Food Republic at Suntec was packed, lucky found some seats. Met some other friends there too ! Waited, talked, ate, drank ... then off we go.

Got my micro SD at $32.50 and a leather casing at $34.90.

My turn to work ....

As usual, a non-event day ... off to Plaza Sg to get my nokia e61i . Yes ... decided to be "conned" by starhub by re-contracting my maxonline for 2 yrs and getting a new mobile line, thus becoming a hubber.

It went well, but then ....... sigh

When I tested the phone, somehow, yes somehow, the way/angle that I hold the phone when taking a call affects the volume I am hearing. Seems like because the area where the sound comes out is a horizontal line which is quite long, so when I placed it near my ear, it is not getting the optimal positioning ....

Anyway, got the phone, other than that, no complaints so far, the qwerty keyboard is nice to use, damn big screen which I liked, wi-fi, symbian, etc.

Went to SLS, wanted to get a pouch/case and a screen protector. TO MY SURPRISE, WAS JUST CHECKING FOR FUN, MY N70 CAN SELL FOR $270 !!! Starhub only take it in for $200. So I boot up my N70, deleted all contacts/smses/formated the mcard and sold it off. The shop beside the summerhouse donut house.

Zodiac
Which was given a 4 1/2 stars in Life. Movie is long, about 2 hr 40 mins. Quite disappointing, maybe it is based on true life events and

1) The killer is not really psycho, didn't torture his victims,
2) Stretches over 20+ yrs before a survivor testify the actual killer, abit KT
3) 1 or 2 mysteries was left unanswered
4) Letters and cipher codes a many or maybe too many which did not really leads to clues or solving the case, was interesting in the beginning, as it goes on, as I see the Year/Mth/Day that appear as a caption on and off gets further and further away from the first killing. 6/10

Ju Ju Hokkaido steamboat
A steamboat which you have your own pot ( if you dine in-doors ), for outdoors it is shared, but outdoors you can listen to the "Live" music.

Basically, you have a appetizer, the main ingredients ( beef, pork, seafood, fish, etc ), rice/vermicelli/soba, desserts. It is not buffet, so quantity that comes is not a lot, though how the raw food was presented, was like huge, royal, grand ....

The appetizer was a 70% hard boiled egg, you need to break it into 1/2 and drenched it with the special soya sauce, the taste was quite good I must say.

Ingredients were fresh, the beef was good, sauces are quite nice too. 2 stocks to choose from, the clear one or the spicy one. It was a split, so we have both. The soup really was good as the ingredients fills in.

Dessert is a mango sago with a coconut concoction served in a cute cup. Came up to about $28 pax.

Though feels abit tired but still feels like doing something else, so went to KTV, after hours of belting out ... we split about 2+.

Finally slept at about 4 ....

Fri, 1st June 07

PC show weekend, the time comes yet again where every Singaporean needs to buy something from the event. Organizers are confident records will broken again though some big names are missing from the show.


Friday seems quiet, is like only 2% of whole Singapore is working, most are on a long weekend due to Vesak Day. Left early to run some errands and then headed to the PC show, wanted to check out the plantronics bluetooth earpiece and a 8 GB thumbdrive.


Expected, Shaw Tower CP is full, attempting Suntec is like MI4, so naturally, it has to be at Bugis Junction, so some walking.


The cheapest model at $109 doesn't give me a comfortable and steady fit, the rest are too expensive. Like the sales preaching to one L, is like buying a Lexus ... blah blah blah.


The imation 8GB at one booth was $130, at one other was $107.50, wonder why, not attractive enough for me to buy.


Dinner was at Tonchiki, a Jap restaurant at Suntec basement, which has good breaded deep fried cutlet, loin, fillet, tempura, etc. Had the tonkatsu set, comes with appetizer, chawamuxu, miso soup and fruits. Can't finsh the rice, overall too much.


The 5 or 6 piece of deep fried pork fillet was really thick, it fills you up .....


Time for lesson !!! Hmmmm, think I already wrote something in a Saturday entry.

Went for dessert after that then drop a friend off for her KTV *but she kena put pigeon in the end* and send another friend home.

Working on saturday ... so went home after that.

Replugged Lessons - Last 3rd

Last 3rd lessons not because we are "graduating", but our course mates are leaving for oversea studies ... so we stopped as well.

Heaven knows was the latest song we are playing ... playing while someone is singing is hard. Lightning co-ordination and on-the-spot-split second reflex changes is required !!!! Sang about 5 times ... abit hate the song oredi !

Anyway, timing has always been my weakness, it just get either slower or faster throughout ... Hai ... maybe need some 少林高僧 to 打通 my 任督二脉 !!!

New song is 童话, in harmony play. This one even worse, though I can play the melody easily but with harmony play and left hand bass + timing with the crotchet, quaver, mimum, etc ... up the difficulty level !!!

We ll see how it goes ......

Shrek 3

Not many movies can go to the 3rd instalment, this green huge orge did. With a simple tale of king and kingdom, villian and fairy tale characters, it arrives at Shrek 3, most probably the last. Some of the laughs are repeated from previous, like when donkey swapped characters with puss in boots but retaining their physical form, donkey gave that "puss in boots" look, which was classic in the previous instalments.

I like the sleeping beauty which always was shown her dozing off during most scenes ... heee :) And now, donkey have kids now, which can fly ! Because the mother is that purple dragon, can't remember when did they hit it off.

The scene where King harold ( in frog form ) was dying on his bed, also quite funny, few rounds of fake death with maximum grasping of breath there and there. And always missing critical information to be reveal during these rounds of fake death.

Prince Charming was back to reclaim his throne with the help of all the "evil" fairy tale characters, thus capturing Shrek. It was up to Fiona and her band of sisters who rescue him. And apparently her mother knew 少林铁头功, using her head to bang off 2 layers of prison walls !!!

A good light hearted movie in between spidey 3, pirates and coming ocean 13, zodiac, transformer and F4. 7/10.

Lazy Sunday

Some %^&*()!#$~%&$&*($?>< whoever threw an egg down ... hit the top of the car. It happened when I was in camp, Dad told me did not have any damage. But while washing my car just now, there is a small circle on the right edge at the top !!! it is in a spiral fashion, evidently the paint had came off !!!

Sian :( Damn hot day, a good sweat it off washing my car.

Got a letter from starhub with a $350 voucher for any mobile package + a free NEC n412i mobile phone. That was the carrot ...

The stick was I need to sign on a 2 yr-contract with maxonline which I already am using now. And also a 2 yr-contract with starhub mobile, any plan except the cheapest one !!!

Tempted !!! Was planning to get the nokia E61i, $388 for starhub. M1, my current provider is at $458, contract still going on.

So if I get the starhub line, which I will give to my mum + the free NEC mobile phone.

And with the line, I will be a hubber, enjoying 10% discount on my cable TV and 5% off my maxonline, but the thing is .... my mum do not need the monthly plan. A pre-paid card will do which will last for months.

So I will be paying $21x12=$252, if using pre-paid, probably will be jus $18x3=$54.
But with the hubber discounts, I will be paying $85x12=$1020 instead of $1224.

So is like I will be paying about $106 a month for cable TV, maxonline and mobile.

Pirates of the Carribean 3 - At World's End

This 3rd instalment came fast and furious after the successful second one. Was a long movie, close to 3 hours .... trying to keep awake at most of the time. Didn't sleep well during this week in camp.

The davy jones's crew is still as disgusting ... yucks boi ... yeeeeeeeee to the max.

But towards the end, Sparrow uses Will's hand to stab the heart which killed Jones and free the ship/crew ... and Will took over the ship.

And Sparrow and him joined hands to destroy the commodore's battle ship.

Not sure how did it drag to about 3 hours, Chow Yun Fatt took up some of the screen time as one of the 9 pirates king, but was killed when his ship was attacked, kena piecred through by a wooden plank or something.

He did tried to force himself onto Elizabeth seconds before he was killed, and after that made her the captain of his ship.

At the so called pirates meeting, the 9 pirates captains ... were indeed slapstick characters. Just there to provide some laughter.

At least, this instalment did not left any unsolved mysteries behind but there was a after credits clip, showing a little girl with Elizabeth, probably her daughter. Not much news on a 4th instalment as yet but should not be a problem if they script for one. 7/10

8th ICT ended !!!

Finally out-pro and left around 7 pm on friday, we became alpha company when we were at the gate ... no choice ... if not ... not sure how long more must we wait.

Moved slowly towards the gate while hoards of people and vehicles was stopped at the gate ...

Death wait in camp as I didn't go ATEC. And those who didn't go must go back to the training area in Yishun and Seletar to pick rubbish ... just for show. A 1/2 hour job took in total 5 hours including travelling time ... Most of the time in SAF, one has to overcome the natural instinct to seek justification when something just do not make any sense.

Basically, from simple admin matters to actual excercise issues, sometimes one just wonders.

The last 2 ICT was promised to be low key affairs, well ... we will just have to wait and see.

Must mention, the food is getting worse, somehow ....

The FA Cup Final - 06/07

Boring affair, torturous, too cautious approach. Was at chambers with a sell out crowd at the courtyard area, stretches till extra time when Drogba was just a bit faster than Van Der Sar to hook the ball into the corner after a delightful 1-2 at the edge of the penalty box.

The crap game was marred by at least 20+ young brats with american accent howling JUST behind us, yes JUST, about 1 cm behind us. Believe they walked in for a table of 4 but ended up the whole of NY was there.

Mixture of international students whom most probably studying at the SG american school or whatever. there are americans, indians, asians and whatever. They were loud, 80% of the time bickering, TCSS, shouted and jeered only when there are chances but only after few seconds as they are talking cock to each other.

There are quiet ones who probably are interested in the game, just this small group among them who OMIGOD, if you think of it, one might know why Virginia Tech happened.

ICT - ATEC half time

Back for a weekend break before heading back for another week. Somehow couldn't sleep ... woke up at 8 am ... went down and did my first car wash. Is about a 45 mins to 1 hour job, if one do it at a leisure pace.

It is dirty, dirt, dust, white spots, whatever, etc. Got my sponge, microfiber cloth, armorall wash and wax.

Discovered something !!!! On the top of my car, there is a "not that visible" line running across on the driver's side .... sian ... Don't know what is that ... a scratch ? But how ? Must find someway to remove it.

Not easy, is like equivalent to 30 mins on the iGallop, but then how much of botak jones meal does it neutralize ?!?!?!? I don't think much .... But at least some sweat it out job.

Sat Dinner@Nadezhda Russian Restaurant

This little shop at around arab street, just opposite Golden Landmark Hotel's taxi stand. Just a few tables and a cashier cum counter, we sat towards the kitchen door. The menu offering though humble but still has appetizer, soup, main dish, desserts and drinks.

Wanted to have the Minskaya Kotleta which I think is chicken leg either grilled or bbq but the russian chap say today don't have worr .... Hmmmm

Then we decided to get the Otbivnaya Boyarskaya, which is pork chop. We ordered the borsch soup, kvas and fermented tea. The borsch soup is light, with beetroot and little beef in it. Heard the Shashlik's version is much thicker and redder.

The kvas taste like beer while the tea is like zapple without the carbonated water .... is nice.

Then came the pork chop, with mashed potato and some pickled vegetables. The vege's soury taste up the appetite and the mashed potato though without any sauces taste very good. The pork chop with mushroom and cheese on top had a very flavourful taste in every bite !!!

Dessert. The blinchiki apple, did not disappoint as well. Is like crepes rolled with apples stripes in it and drenched with honey on them ... and some sour cream beside them.

Bill came up about $133 after UOB card discount. Definitely worth coming back.

Spiderman 3

3rd instalment of the spiderman series, plans for spidey 4 is on the way. Records broke during premiere, first day, first weekend in box office tickets sale. More details in relationships, feelings, drifting to dark side, character development are shown in this movie.


This time round, spidey has more nemesis, Green Goblin, The Sand Man and Venom. His relationship with MJ went through ups and downs. He was too into his own "Everyone in NY loves spiderman" craze.


It became more evident when he saved the police captain's daugther, Betty from some freak accident, he was even more in the limelight. All these, neglected MJ, she was fired from her broadway show as critics slams her performance. Communication broke down between them and Peter found out the real killer of his uncle.


Which happens to be the sand man, was a normal man who escaped from prison before his freak accident that turned him into sand. Hatred and revenge filled spidey .... And the black venom substance attacked him.


Spidey became more powerful and more vengeful ... in his black spidey suit.


He dismissed the sand man when he was washed away in the drainage system.


Peter changed with the venom in him ... in his daily life as well.

Along came a free lance photograher, Eddie who wanted a job in the newspaper firm, edited a picture which made spidey looked real bad.


Peter fought back hard, revealing what Eddie did, he was sacked. MJ broke up with him when Harry threathened her to do so, the black spidey seek revenge, and disfigured him.


He even went to MJ's lounge with Betty with the plan to disrupt her work and showed MJ he has betty now. And hurt MJ accidentally when he seemingly lose control with venom in him.


Finally, he decided to fought off this venom and somehow Eddie was present when he did this. Eddie with venom in him decided to co-operate with sand man for a final showdown.


Venom and sand man kidnapped MJ to force spidey out ... Harry helped him in the end after understanding his father died accidentally.


This instalment ended without any clues with what to expect in spidey 4 ... awaiting

Friday evening was crap, headed to sim lim to get a HDD as my crashed on thursday night. But I think the lady gave me a 160GB one for the price of a 120GB one. Heee ... changed to Huh in a few seconds ... got a call ... have to rush to Jurong to put out some "burning fire".

Lucky replugged lesson was cancelled, if not ... even more sian !

On my way to get my car, is like whole world is calling me ... 5 miss calls ... 10 voicemails .... 4 unread sms. Crap ... no choice ... rush off in a called cab. I was still on the phone when I reached Jurong !!!!

Somehow you wonder why is numerous parties got involved when only about 1 to 2 persons really know what is happening and probably the only ones who know how to put out the fire.

When multiple parties communicate in an disorder manner with information coming in from different angles and views, you will get CHAOs. So probably, somewhere in the middle, SOMEONEs could be quite redundant ... Hai

Anyway, fire got put out. Rejoined my friends about close to 9 pm, but not much mood left. Left early around 10+ as has to reach another site early on Saturday morning.

Saturday was a much better day, though the early wake up was quite sian. Went to the first team BBQ at boss's place, somewhere in the damn far west. Took cab as most probably drink quite abit, the lady driver who wanted to play "Need for Speed" since young got her chance when she got her cab driving license. Phew ... What a ride.

Glendale Park, though looked old with walls needing a new coat of paint got a nice pool and several BBQ pits inside. Overall, good place for a BBQ. Started BBQing around 5+ and eating through the BBQing till about 8+ ... damn bloated.

Every piece of meat taste the same near the end, felt like "Terry Fox" ....

Finished 5 bottles of wine ... of course with the rest ... Had a good time.

Sunday was rest but manage to get a hair cut because Teo CH wants me back for 2 weeks next monday ... Sian*1,000,000,000,000

Tuesday Blues starts in about 8 hours .....

Worked till Death ?

Can work really caused extreme damage to one's life ? Till maybe death ? Today's new paper headline make it a point that it is highly possible .... or maybe it has already caused someone to die ...

Though cause of death is still unknown but from the reports and her last blog entry, work is definitely the critical and key cause. Different people handles stress differently, this slient killer comes in various form, but usually mainly from work, as it takes up at least 8 to 10 hours of your daily 24 hours life ( where 6 to 8 hours you are zzzZZZzzz ).

Work piled on, which could be previous loads of backlogs or poor processes or how the initial project was planned and implemented. If one can clear a task in a day, doesn't imply he/she can clear 1000 tasks in a week. Some tasks are repetitive and mundane which means logically more people doing will help in delivering the overall objective in a faster manner.

From what is known, quite obviously people above her is either turning a blind eye on the load shit of work she is handling ... then hoping miracle might happen. But then the cruel truth now tells them, what they did not do to relieve the bad situation now turns into a tragedy.

But of course it could be also she didn't take the stress well and somehow turned herself into some working machine trying to prove herself real hard in this "FORTUNE 500" company. The report states she only got $2,600 a month as a partner support manager, the title definitely did not match the pay.

Anyway, $ aside, her direct boss is still responsible. How can one do not know the work load of the team ? And at what kind of logical speed and timeframe can one finish the shitload of work ?
Working till wee hours ... waking up early to work .... working during weekends ? All these undetected ?

It should be the talk for a while at the "Fortune 500" company

Hope that all the people who are involved directly or indirectly maybe should start waking up their f*cking idea .....

The Hills have Eyes 2

Slept at 3+. Somehow didn't sleep well or maybe didn't sleep enough. Woke up before 9 am ... washed up ... started playing "一千年以后" on my e303.

Been a while since we watched a movie, not much of watchable movies in recent weeks. But this movie "Sua Tow Wu Mut Jiu 2", simply lives up to its 'R21' rating. Not a glimpse of cuts or editing, but maybe got deleted scenes ... not sure.

Definitely not for the faint hearted, gore, bodies into halves, smashed brains, chopped limbs, fell to death, rocked to death, bayonet through the mouth, you name it, most probably you get it. Story still revolves around sector 16, some secret army base where it was used to test nuclears. And it somehow infected people. mutated them, defaced them, became stronger and well maybe smarter or the victims are too KT. This time round, soldiers got involved.

Movie begins showing girl giving birth, probably one of the girl from the last movie. So another mutated "Yeeeee" got born but this one is still not inhuman, helping the soldiers along the movie.

The girl in the picture with "Mr Damn F*cking ugly" was banged from behind by his father, who is "Mr Damn F*cking big and ugly".

Each soldiers got killed off along the way, in its own unique way. 3 escaped, probably are elements for "Sua Tow Wu Jin Zue Mut Jiu 3".

So looks liked more gore and gruesome killings is in the boil for the next sequel.

Moment of the movie :
if you are hanging off a cliff with your 2 hands gripping tightly to the edge. How can you wave Bye Bye to yourself ?!?!??! Let the mutated bastards help you !!! They will chopped off one of your hand, so you will be holding to the edge with all your might, while he used your hand to wave Bye Bye to you !!!!

8/10 for great entertainment value.

Change

People are usually resistant to change, in any aspect, daily life, work, play etc. One excel in what they are good at or love to do, maybe esp more in the area of work.

But sometimes, you have to change, due to other factors which are more forceful to allow one to just ignore/overrides the change one has to make.

These are usually dilemma times, sometimes you still have some deciding space but sometimes practically not much. Weighing the pros and cons might not help in the end, as it might just even off. Or maybe one really do not know what he/she wants now or near future or mid term.

In addition, what lies ahead of one's choice is not possible to ascertain, the most certain factor will only be the monetary value of what you will be getting for what you will be doing.

So .... Dilemma times again

Rain + Rush hour + Cab

These 3 things comes together hand in hand ... like brothers ...

If you can call and get a cab during rush hour when it is raining, either you have used up most of your luck for the year or somehow you are so taiko that it is unexplainable.

Tried calling this morning from 8:20 am to 8:50 am, engaged all the way. Silvercab is the best, "Thank you for calling Silvercab. All our customer service officers are busy right now. Please call back later" ..... Omigod ... felt like kena played !!! Comfort and TIBS .... "Du Du Du ...."

Patience waiting by the road side is the only way out, lucky got one cab turn out of the carpark, probably starting his day, so I used up some of my luck too :)

Friday Dinner@The Station Kitchen

The food outlet of St James Power Station, smart move for people to grab a bite before or after their partying. Open by the BreadTalk group, is a combination of 3 main type of foods in a same venue. Prata, Noodles and Charcoal grill. But you can only order charcoal grill food at the designated area.

Indoor was packed and waiting is still required, outdoor also must wait ! But some 10, 15 mins later ... we were told outdoor have seats ... Duh. Sat down, browse through the menu, typical hawker/kopitiam fare for the prata food. Noodles are 鼎泰丰 kinda of food, that explains breadtalk.

We ordered some chilli vinegar wanton, pork chop, chicken murtabak and braised beef noodles. The murtabak is like crepes on the crispy side, the fillings was generous but over taste with the curry is abit salty.

The wanton and pork chop are normal, nothing fantastic. The beef noodle soup tasted simple as well after 556 Whampoa, TP bak kut teh, JB pig organ soup. But somehow the noodles was lumped together, didn't taste as good. Looks like C who usually have a name which sounds like pugilists did not handmade them. Maybe he went for break, the L took over.

Wonder how long this will last but with IR coming up. If it can survive till then, should be packing in the tourists.

Our neighbour's mobile 厕所

Not sure why the need ? Maybe good chance to "take some money" !!! And 20 cents to use it quite cheap, considering if in Singapore. So about 2 million use is needed to recover the cost ( If what reported was the actual cost ).

It looks sort of futuristic and packs a lot of feature, didn't really see or use it so won't know.But at least can see that it is much more cleaner than other toilets.

Even states that only 15 mins use, 1 min of warning will be given after 15 mins then the door will open .... win oredi ... "Only in Mer Lay Sia".

A sure no no for constipater, magazine/papers readers and take-your-own-sweet-timester. Unless, the risk/reward is not there !!!

Thursday Lunch@Sakae Teppanyaki

A more high class on-the-spot teppanyaki by sakae replace the original one at Century Sq basement. The price difference is worth it, set lunches ranges from $10.90 to $12.90 if i remember correctly. The extra $2 for the garlic rice is a must try, fried on the spot.

We had the beef set, basically steak cut into small cube cook to your preference, you name it .... well done to bloody raw or you can even choose which cow you want*. It comes with miso soup, fried mixed vege, some tofu which was teppanyakied and a bowl of "can't remember the name" beans.

My medium well beef was good, done just nice, not too hard or too bloody. Goes well with the garlic rice which gives a nice fragrance.

No nasi goreng kampong today ?!?!!?!?!?! Cook not around !!!!! Oh noo !!! End of the world !! How can we not have nasi goreng kampong for our frequent dinner !!!?!??!?!?!

Somehow .... chef not in today :( So hopped over to another delectable stall ... Soon Heng :)

The name may sound like some AQ operation or headquarters but nah .... it is a 24 hour kopi tiam style malay/indian food stall located along middle road. Very popular among usual diners and those who wants some supper.

The mee hoon goreng, hor fun, nasi goreng and roti john "special" are very nice favourites.

Jolin 唯舞独尊 2007 演唱会

Jolin 真的长 "大" 了. 奇怪的是刚开始时, 她还说 "好久不见, 我有没有变啊 ?" ... 是在自我炒作最近传媒指她去 "隆胸" 的事 ? Anyway, it has became a thing of the past, think nobody is interested in the truth anymore, just that is a fact that she is big now.

Power dance and song segments, ballads, popular hits, pyrotechnics, cleavage, energized crowds, hiccups, solo dancing .... etc.

Show started with her being elevated up in 2 gymnastic rings in a 一字马, did some movements then came down .... and it all started.

一连串的动感舞曲 with her group of dancers, sometimes one would wonder how can these artistes remember all the moves, lyrics ( maybe can lip sync ), melody, synchronize with the band, not to mention to catch your breadth .... Siong ar ... "Pai Tum".

Her first ballad of the night, 假面的告白


The special guest is Taiwanese boy band Energy which completely was of no related to the whole concert except gave some time for Jolin to rest and change her outfit. They sang 3 songs ... maybe so as to tell Singapore they are still "alive" ... new album coming out ... blah blah. Maybe will left 2 only when it comes.

Some hiccups here and there, she keep pulling up her slacks, somehow maybe didn't fit her. The rifle dance movement saw her rifle guard got snapped off, this make some off her later moves impaired. Later in the show, some costumes parts behind became lose, was in the middle of bringing the crowd up to the next level but she just have to stand quite still for someone to fix it.
She belted out familiar tunes 柠檬草的味道 天空 说爱你 睁一只眼闭一只眼 怀念 Mr Q 假装 唯舞独尊 马德里不思议 野蛮游戏 ... she got the crowd all standing up after the warmed up 人体海浪. Then came 看我七十二变, from slow to faster and faster beats.

Then encore came ... she came up to perform 舞娘


And somehow she has to read out all the sponsors name one by one ... no read maybe no need to come liao next time.

But at least we still get to hear 倒带 as the finale ...


Anyway, got this irritating usher keep telling people cannot take video !!! She told me twice somemore ! wah kaw ... while the rest of the 5,424 people are taking, she just bo liao bo liao tell off some people near to her. For what ?!?!? not that we are using "TCS/Mediacorp" broadcasting camera to take the video !!!

Other than that, a very entertaining show.

Friday Dinner@Whampoa FishHead Steamboat

Balestier road is full of eateries along both side as you drive through. This outlet at 556 balestier road serves good fish head steamboat .... okie ... not good ... very good. If you either have fish head, fish slices, fried fish or seafood as the main content ....



The soup taste more and more 鲜甜 as it gets more concentrated. 鱿鱼 kangkong, 虾酱鸡 and 街边豆腐 were recommended, so we ordered. The 鱿鱼 kangkong is normal, somehow got a layer of oil on top of it. 街边豆腐 is nice, 4 big pieces of 豆腐 on a bed of 羹.



The 羹 is quite thick and has dried shrimp with some crab meat in it ... nice. The inside of the 豆腐 taste bland which is just nice as it blends with the 羹.



The medium size steamboat we have is just about the right, the fresh pieces of fish slices dipped into the chilli was so good, the right combination !!!

The 虾酱鸡 was highly recommended, it was very crispy on the outside but the overall taste didn't give any extra oohm.



The bill came to about $66, quite alright consider the medium steamboat.

A place which we will definitely return again ....

Mr Bean's Holidays

Should be the last Bean's movie.

A free trip to south france turns bean into a so called kidnapper who took away some Director's son and he ends up having a standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival.

Sounds impossible and is like mayhem everywhere.

Bean's kind of comedy, about untimely errors, mischief, exaggarated manners of his body and limbs and his preposturous action which he thinks is normal.

Along his trip, he kept taking videos of the happenings and this get shown at the Cannes Festival which intercepted Carlson Clay's film. If the maker's attempt to make this clay's film a funny attempt, they did it !!! Btw, William Defoe is Carlson Clay, maybe no more Golbin for him.

A lighthearted movie with some laughs here and there ... 6/10

Saturday Dinner@Botak Jones

They server damn good american food at damn good prices, started by Jones who is botak and has 4 stalls in Singapore.



This new one at Toa Payoh north, just beside SPH news centre and in front of Blk 199.



Located in the eating house, botak jones has numerous servers donned in blue and white. Basically, resistance is futile against the food it serve, which are fast food, burgers, hotdogs, fish&chips, salads, steak, etc. Nice food are never healthy ...





The botak burger set meal with cheese ........


A 150g minced beef patty hand mixed grilled medium well and topped with melted cheese on top. Fries crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and sprinkle with 极乐 spices ... the coleslaw which is the only normal side dish taste good as well.

Each bite of the patty with the cheese on top and some mustard on it just taste real good.

Joe Augustin was there with his family as well, looks like his son is going for 5 mths BMT.


The $7 is worth it as portions given are generous, barely finishing in the end.



If you are really that hungry, like you just finished Survivor after 40 days of almost no food, you may want to attempt to try to "You crazy ".



It is basically 3 patties, must be some damn hungry big eater canivorous being to finish that.

The food it served with the prices is definitely better tha fast food joints out there. Maybe it will open one in the east soon .......

Friday Dinner@Miss Clarity

This little cafe along Purvis street, it was already packed when we was there around 6:45 pm. There are seats but all reserved so gotta to leave at 7:30 pm. So no choice, we sat outside, weather that day still quite okay to al fresco.

Deco was for the young as major educational institutes sprouts around the area.

And the crowds who trickles in are definitely of that sort. Menu was kinda of kiddie and but food choices are ample. Took the corden bleu set with lobster bisque ......

The bisque was disappointing, diluted and you get abit 腻 while you carry on drinking. But the garlic bread with cheese on top was quite nice, dipped into the bisque.

The main dish came ... did some recovery of the confidence in the food. Cordon bleu usually is chicken breast and meat is hard, this one is too.

But the cheese inside did some help to soothen the over bite and taste.

A huge chunk of some mayo sauce came with it too, the breaded skin wasn't done well. The cauliflowers was like over done and came with some potatoes.



The beef stew was surprisingly not bad, generous pieces of beef chunks were in a bowl of stew. The pieces was soft and goes well with each bite, bread or rice or pasta can be chosen. Another chicken dish was quite good too, looks like tight meat grilled with mushrooms in it and on top of a sea of sauces. The chicken skin was the HIGHLIGHT which somehow was marinated to full taste !

Ends with mango sorbet and has a refreshing outburst which is not so sweet. Prices are cheap and portion considered generous. With location considered accesible, it should be staying around for a while.

Back to Work !

2 weeks just whizz past like smoke. Apparently, is like nothing was done during these days. Anyway, back to reality, work work work ... pending signs of more work coming up but still manageable. April is bonus time and my expectation is high which will lead to heavy disappointment.

Money being the root of all evil, mostly is the driver behind all enthusiam and interest of all kinds that will lead to concrete beneficial results at work. But of course, a certain level of interest in the work must be already there, if not .... quite hard.

In the event of huge disappointment, well ... should be time to explore the greener pasture outside to satisfied similar nature of interest but with a greater return in monetary value.

Accepted

Watched the movie, Accepted, some B-grade teenage college movie. But was quite light hearted and some crap jokes here and there. About a guy who simply got rejected by all colleges, so out of chance, found a deserted place and .....

Decided with a group of other rejected friends, setup a college to bluff his parents !!! And create a website about it ... South Harmon Institute of Technology, so it is S.H.I.T. And it went well, it fooled his parents, even got someone to impersonate as the dean.

But then something really real came along, few hundreds students sign up on the website, paid their tuition fees. So it started, a boundless, ruleless, fun-filled way of studying, no tests, no exams, no essays. And you get to decide what to learn !!!

Students are teachers, Teachers are the students ....

Okie ... it is crazy but if one day, something similar like this can be designed and used in real life, how great can it be !!! Is like can one really do something he/she like in life, even probably to an extent something which might not be bringing in a stable income.

But with the limitless boundaries ... Creativeness, hidden talent and passion could well be propel out of everyone to do the things they really want.

How many of us still uses diffferentitaion and integration ? Pie is 3.14 ? Area of a circle ? Do we need to go through years of science to know we cannot pour sulphuric acid on ourselves ? Okie, on other people as well ....

Pathfinder

About vikings vs red indians. Basically, a predator and prey movie, but a young predator who was abandone at young because he was as savage to kill a young prey.

The young discard, Ghost, was brought up by the preys, the red indians. But with viking fighting abilities flowing in this blood and some mild identify crisis going on.

So one fine day, the vikings came back, ravaged his village. He ran while killing as many of the vikings as possible.

The vikings are huge in size, wore protective gear, uses solid weapons and have horses.

Expected much gory details but somehow was not there. Finally, the vikings capture ghost, the pathfinder and his daughter, starfire. They 四马分尸 the pathfinder to threaten ghost to bring them to the next village, but ghost refuse till they wanted to cut off starfire's hand.

"If you cannot kill the bear, use the bear's power to kill it"

So 智取 was the way to go .... and indeed it works. Almost all the vikings fell off the 万丈深渊 cliff, because they tied themselves together to reduce the chance of slipping off. But it was a desperate ploy by ghost to hit the last man with some flying object, and thus triggering a chain-reaction effect that brings the vikings down.

Well, the leader of the pack cannot die so easy mah .... so sort of some final showdown between him and ghost.

Replugged - Lesson XX

Lost count we are on lesson number what. But one thing for sure, still very much into it. Notes, melody and chords still able to energize me :) We are playing chords in their Major, Dominant form now, so some sound wierd when it is played.

Consistent timing has been my problem all the while, it has improved but still .... Hmmmm. We are playing 林俊杰's 江南 now.

Should be getting a new song this coming friday.

4th day of MC

Into my 4th day of MC after my fateful "Don't know" somehow twisted my back while challenging for the ball during my soccer game. I can only say it was really bad when it happened, but still managed to reach home, took a shower, ate something before heading to CGH A&E with a friend.

Time seems like flying even when I have all the time at home, replying work emails, watching my movies and drama, practising my keyboard, sleeping, etc. Time always not enough when you need it, always too much when you just want it to go faster.

Stopped taking the medicine, it makes feel thirsty and mouth dry. Certain movement still painful but at least much better since Sunday.

Not sure how long this recuperation is going to take, think it could take a while. Let's see what the doc, William says next tuesday ............

Another highly recommended NBC drama, about normal people which have hidden special powers. The discovery of the ability to perform extraordinary things is an easy path for some, a difficult one for some.

They are not normal anymore, struggling to come to reality and back to the society. Sounds like X-men, but maybe closer to real life and being shoot into a drama, more details can be injected into each character.

Another "Kill People Put Fire" movie. About 300 spartans soldiers fighting against all odds to protect their land and freedom. King Leonidas led 300 men to block the attack of Xerxes's astronomical army. His plan was to kill enough Persians so that they will be scare and retreat.

Xerxes launched wave after wave of attack against the 300 but they stood still with their determined will and battle skills.

A lot of CGI blood spilled, limbs flew here and there, heads rolled. Most of the battle scenes are in slow motion which allows the audience to see the killings in true gore details.

The normal army came and they died ...

The hideous 'Malay Fighting men" came and they died ...

The giant came and it died ...

The gigantic rhino came and it died ...

The huge mammoths came and they died ...

But then ... a rejected spartan joined Xerxes. He was rejected by Leonidas as his deformed body would have jeorpadized the safety of other soldiers during battle. Therefore, he led the Xerxes army through a little path and they surrounded the 300. With the will of spartans who do not surrendered, they fought on but all died.

Leonidas was arrowed to death in the end ....

Saturday Dinner@Giraffe

A restaurant cum bar in this 2 storey structure previously occupied by Bboss. Most seats are on the second floor, while the first storey is the bar area with some sofa seats.

We got a outdoor seat while the indoor area is surrounded by glass. Lighting is dim and Plaza Singapura is just across the street.

Food selection is limited and pricey maybe due to the crowd which has quite a number of ang mogs.
After 7:30, it gets quite packed with people tricking in.

Main course starts from $16 for a creamy mushroom pasta. I ordered the marinara which is spicy seafood linguine. For desserts, the Lava straightaway caught my attention !

And they do not serve ice water as well. Cheapest is evian at $3.90. Coke is also $3.90 !!! Win oredi !!! NTUC only sell around $0.50 for a can of coke, almost 500% hike.

The creamy mushroom pasta is so creamy and cheesy that it becomes too overwhelming as one would struggle through the dish. But the taste was very good.

Portion was quite big and will filled you. My marinara didn't disappoint as well. Mussels, scallop, prawns and squids filled the big plate.

The sauce has a tingle of spicyness which is just nice and has a crunchy bite which must be coming from the chopped ingredients in the sauce.

As we eat, we can see waiter panting and trying to catch their breadth. Travelling up and down the staircases by leaping a few steps at a time with a humungous tray lifted with their hands and supported by their shoulder. Tough work !


Desserts came, Lava, is like a chocolate muffin in a cup and chocolate sauce filled in it. A scoop of vanilla ice cream lay beside it. Eating it warm is very nice, the cake texture is soft enough.
It looks better when it came, this was taken when I already started eating it.

The tiramisu with expresso was also nice but abit sweet. This layered desserts did not disappoint.

Friday Dinner@The French Stall

Have been wanting to visit this kopitiam style food outlet that dish out french fare. Tucked into a corner of Serangnoon road, arrival before 7:15 pm still have seats available.

The executive beef set was very highly recommended by my friends. French onion soup, the beef main dish and a dark chocolate cake for dessert.

2 pieces of bread topped with cheese drenched in the soup. The cheese was the highlight of this starter soup item.

Then came the steak that was done medium well, but then the steak wasn't the killer. IT WAS THE POTATO !!!!!! It was so tasty that I think the potato was genetically altered and then mutatedly grown. *Mutatedly most probably not a word* Or maybe it was seasoned for 7 7 49 days before it was pan fried.

The steak was very good but if it was done lesser than medium well, it would be better ! The potato side dish, the steak and sauce, one just cannot stop himself from keep eating the dish. If this was really good, the dessert that came just topped this dinner !

The dark chocolate cake looks like a normal sponge cake. It has no chocolate on it but with a crispy top layer of some kind of don't know what, maybe is sugar.

A bite into it gives you the sugary feel as it slowly melts in your mouth. The sweetness was not overwhelming maybe the dark chocolate balance it throughout.

A delectable dinner. The set was around $22.80, quite worth it. The main dish and the dessert already matched the price.

Wed Dinner@Basil Alcove

This outlet along the roadside of Fortune Centre along middleroad was raving in quite a review since it open a while ago. Menu selection isn't alot but the prices are still reasonable.

Pasta and meat selection are available. The duck main dish caught my eye and I ordered that. The guy recommended it to be done medium so we acceptable that.

Didn't know duck not fully cooked can be serve as a dish.

We got mussels was the starter and wasn't the type where you see sauces drenched over it.

Not bad for a lighted version. The duck came and it smells nice. Somehow it exudes a certain grilled fragrance, came with some french beans, smashed potato and a vinegar kind of dip.

As we ate, most part of it was quite raw, feels like eating "Donald" raw. The guy offered to make it more cooked for us after he monitored us for a while as his recommendation wasn't really for us.

After it was grilled for a while more, it is better. Cut it into smaller pieces and dipped in more vinegar sauces, tastes much better.

His offer to grill the duck for a while more makes our day. Great service in the context of Singapore.

Definitely can visit for a second time.

HairCut

About time for a haircut since my last one, went for one yesterday after work. My usual one at my HDB area salon, but that one have to wait for 30 mins .... Somehow. So I checked out the other one which I patronize once before, Hmmmm ... they "Pa Mang" inside, good for me. So I stepped in for the cut ...

Told her how I want it to be cut, so .... snip, snip, snip it went.

Then ..... someone open the door ... "Got cut for boy ?"

The one cutting for me prompted the other "Pa Mang" one to go serve them ... Took a while for her to respone ... Maybe hanged for too long.

So the boy sat down, snip, snip, snip it goes .....

I was almost done .... then I heard ... "Hey, got KUTU !!!!"

The abu in a certain level of disbelief ... "Is it ?"

"You don't know he got KUTU !!!!" The picture that appears in the ST papers when JB flood floats in my mind .........

Snip, snip, snip it goes ... Wonder why she didn't stopped cutting.

I was getting goosepimples .... Then the nerve gets to me ...

"Here got somemore ... You see You see" ... I tried not to turn slightly to see what was happening.

Revolting !!! Yeee !!! Yucks !!! Wah Lau eh !!!

Then my hairdresser retorted ... "等一下, 你的梳子要洗leh"

Huh ??!?!?!??! Wash ?!?!?!?!?!?! I was thinking along the line of burn ? annihilate ? disintegrate ?

Mine was done ... paid and left.

That salon is off my list forever, if it do survive.

Letters from Iwo Jima

About the battle between the United States and Japan WWII, from Feb 19th 1945 to Mar 26th 1945. Decades later, letters were unearthed from the soil which surface the faces and voice of the soldiers who fought there and the man who led them.

Japanese men were called in to defend the island, leaving their kins behind. They knew deep inside it was the point of no return but General Kuribayashi's tactics lengthen the battle to around 40 days in which initially a swift capture by the Americans was expected.

Without any aid from main headquarters and fast diminishing ration, water and ammunition, death was the only final outcome.

Almost 20,000 Japanese perish in the end, throughout the movie, letters they wrote was clearly narrated that depict their daily lives on the island, battles they fought, death they seen and an impending death they couldn't control.

Saigo, a baker who wants to live on to see his new born daughter, was the one who buried General Kuribayashi, but not sure if he was alive after that as he was surrounded by American soldiers and went crazy wielding his shover against them.

The movie is abit slow and dry maybe due to how it was suppose to protray the whole meaning and story. 7/10.

Just Follow Law

Not as hilarious as his previous movies, but still have its very funny moments. Basically, poking at red tape, rules and work processes of government agencies. Fann Wong and Gurmit Singh are the main lead that threads the movie throughout.

Some funny scenes :

Writing emails is very common nowadays and it became CGI arrows flying around in the office which eventually became rockets ! "CC" is "Cover Ca Chng" and "BCC" is "Better Cover Ca Chng".

Fann Wong's mother commenting on her new plasma TV. "Ji eh dian si ki an zua ah ne pi, eh sai kua bo" "Ku Lui" "Jit Cheng, Neng Cheng ?". Then the installer reply "6k", "Wah, an zua ah ne kui, lai ping eh ang kong eh tiao chut lai si bo"

"The Goodest Plan" means, Good is "Ho", Gooder is "Jin Ho", so Goodest is "Si Bei Ho".

There is a this lady who worked in WSA which just have that right type of face to say "Can, you must write in, cc my boss, HR, Finance, etc. And it takes 3 working days" "Can, you must apply, photostat both side of your NRIC, with the application form and blah blah blah"

And of course the indian which had the perfect "Si San" face for the post of a security guard, he was fed up about following rules, not following rules and either follow or not follow do not work out for him. He eventually wheel-clamped a fire engine which parked in the VIP slots which was under his care.

Not forgetting, Fann Wong's mother again, after heeding Gurmit's friend advice to take up computer courses, she was very tech savvy in the end. Does internet banking, using a id of "Lau Zar Bo". And say "Learning this was nothing, she even has a blog at LauZarBo@blogspot.com !!!"

The story needs another element to lengthen it, Fann Wong which was Gurmit's boss switches their body after a car accident. This also allows each other to understand their jobs and realize that their family really care about them.
